Tri-Town PTG Meeting Minutes for January 4, 2010 Present:  Tonia Tibbetts, Jenn Richerson, Michelle Hopper,  Jessica Porter, Amanda Anderson, Amanda Curtis, Mary Beth Rolfe, and Catherine Jolliffe, Laura Miller Old Business: Secretary’s report:   PTG  reviewed minutes.  Report was accepted. Treasurer’s report:  Marybeth went over report.   New Business: Fundraisers: 1.  Little Ceasar: Order forms were put in teacher’s mailboxes today.  Want orders to come in by  Friday January 15,2010.  Delivery and pick up will be Wednesday,  January 27.   2. Movie Night:  Tera and Jessica will be setting up for movie night.  Amanda will be picking airheads and water.  Catherine does have a scoop for the popcorn machine.   Next movie will be January 29th  at 7:00p will be showing Astro Boy.  (G-force will be a back up)   3. Murder Mystery:  Will be held on March 6 at 6pm at the Ames School.  First meeting will be held January 11, 2010 at 6pm at Jessica Porter’s house: 194 South Main St in Morrill  (Tan 2 story with farmer’s porch).  In case you get lost her number is 342-2313.  Save the dates will be sent out allowing people to purchase tickets a head of time.      Classroom representative:  No updates from classrooms. Teachers Request: 1. Wizard of Oz:  Mrs. Craig-Foley has continued to work very hard on preparations for the play.   Catherine will talk to Mrs. Craig-Foley.   PTG will organize a bake sale at all the performances.  Presale for wizard of oz t-shirts will be done once pricing has been given.   T-shirts will be Emerald green with white lettering.  Wizard of Oz on front and Ames/ Weymouth 2010 on back.    Michelle Hopper will send out preorder form this week if this is ok with Mrs. Craig-Foley.   2. Sleds:  Were purchased and given out.  Thank you Michelle Hooper. 3. Mrs. Maguire:  Withdrew her request for assistance at this time.       4. School Board Meeting:.   Discussed current concern over superintendent’s contract not being renewed.  PTG will write a letter expressing concerns about his position not being renewed.  Tonia will write a letter to the board members from the PTG members in attendance today.   School board meeting will be held on January 12th at 6:30 pm at Troy Howard school addressing the superintendent’s contract not being renewed.  Laura Miller encourages everyone to attend and voice his/her concerns.
