Weymouth School is located in Morrill, Maine.  It contains 6 classrooms:  2 kindergarten, 2 first and 2 second grades.  Support services include 2 special ed techs, a part time sped teacher and 1 Reading Recover/Title l literacy teacher.  We have one full time administrtive assisstant that serves both schools, 1 custodian and 1 kitchen cook.

Ames School is located in Searsmont, Maine.  It contains 7 classrooms:  2 third, 2 fourth and 2 fifth grade classrooms. Support staff include 1 ed tech and 1 special education teacher that support students needing specialized instruction, 1 Title 1 literacy teacher, 1 secretary, 1 custodian and 1 kitchen cook. The Pre-K program services 4 year olds from the Tri-Town area.  This classroom has  2 full time teachers, and a full time ed tech.  It is a full day program.

We operate as 1 school even though we are 9 miles apart.  We have created a shared mission and vision statement.  Our team has combined staff meetings, the same school/bus rules/expectations, materials and instructional practices are the similar within each grade level.   Our Anti-Bullying Team and Student Assistance/Response To Intervention Team have members from both schools.

This year we are fortunate in that we have an After School Program serving students for 2 hours after school 4 days a week. Students receive homework support, tutoring in literacy and/or mathematics. The program also provides cultural activities through visiting programs and field trips.

We have worked very hard over the past  years to deliver academic programing that meets state standards in all areas. This year our students scored  very well on the MEA's meeting and exceeding district and state scores in many areas.
