Germination Rates 

Today we are going to determine germination rates for seeds of 5 different plants.  Germination rates are based on 100 seeds.  So, you would say germination per 100.  What would be another way to state the germination considering it is based on 100?  (%)

Materials:     
        5 baggies per group x 5 groups x 5 classes = 125 baggies
        5 types of seeds, 10 seeds per type
        1 indelible marker per group
        paper towels
        bowl of water, one per group
