Dental Health is part of the elementary health curriculum. In addition, elementary students have the opportunity to participate in a weekly fluoride swish program at school. Participation is voluntary and requires written permission from the child's parent. This is offered through a grant from the Office of Dental Health in Augusta and is administered by the Waldo County Dental Project. Parent volunteers assist teachers in dispensing the fluoride. If you would like to volunteer, please call Sandy Evans at the 338-6809. Also available Penobscot Bay Children's Dental Clinic for MainceCare services. Ages 8-20 Phone: 338-0700
