Viking Adventure

Congratulations, you have just been hired as a journalist for the local and only newspaper company in town.

Your job is to gather accurate information and complete a journal of the cyberspace adventure you are about to go on. Your reporting skills should find many interesting and important information on the Viking world and culture.

If you accept this assignment and complete all of the tasks that you will encounter on this, your first cyberspace adventure I will have no reason but give you an A.

First of all, I would like to give you a little tidbit of information about the Vikings. The word "Viking" has been used many times over the centuries it has been used for many school mascots, professional sport teams, name of companies, equipment, clothing etc. Just imagine more than a thousand years ago a group of people who were explorers, pirates, traders and settlers exploded across Europe and New Worlds with such a force that their culture and influence is felt even today. The Vikings were a fearless clan of warriors who discovered new lands, built beautiful cities, ships, weapons and invaded and conquer many lands. Their language and descendants have survived all those years and are in many countries today.
