Junction of Rt. 1/Rt. 52 in Belfast - from north, take a left at the light, pass Hannaford Store and take the next right at the Y of 52 (Lincolnville Ave.) and Miller St. The school drive is marked by a sign on the right about 200 ft. further. (From the south on Rt. 1 at the junction of Rt. #1 and #52, take a right and follow same directions.) The school is less than a mile from the traffic light at Rts. 1 and 52.

From Searsport to Belfast, take the right before the bridge and the school is on the left. From Rockland to Belfast to Searsport go across the Belfast Bridge and take the first left and the school is on the left.

Kermit Nickerson Elementary School, 18 Town House Road, Swanville, ME 04915. From US Route 1 in Belfast, take Route 141 North (also known as Swan Lake Avenue) about 6 1/2 miles into down town Swanville. Rt. 141 makes an "S" turn past a gas station on the left. The next road on the left is Route 131, also known as Town House Road. The school is the second building on the left, next to the Swanville Town Office. From either Rt. 137 or Rt. 7 coming from Belfast, turn right onto Rt. 131 North and follow that road (approximately 6 1/2 miles from Rt. 137 and 5 1/2 miles from Rt. 7) until you see a cemetery on the right. The very next driveway is the entrance to the school.

From Belfast head out Route #3 approximately 7 miles. Pass Maritime Farms. Turn right on Route #131 across from Cross' Well Drilling. Go 3 miles on Route #131. Pass church and three houses on right. Take driveway between third house and store. There is a sign - Weymouth School. The driveway will take you up behind the houses and the church. Use red door on upper level with the ramp.

From Belfast head out Route #3 approximately 7 miles. Pass Maritime Farms and Cross Well Drilling on left. Turn left on Route #131 following the signs to Searsmont. Go approximately 3 miles. Pass the Sprowls Lumber and the Fraternity Village Store on your right. Turn right on the New England Road. Go 1 mile and find the Ames School on you right. It is a large white school with a large gray A on the side of the building. From Augusta on Rt. 3 Look for the New England Rd. on the right accross from Cox Machinery. Ames is on the Left about 2 miles.

From Belfast take Route 1 South to Northport Watch Dos Amigos Restaurant. Take left on Bayside just after Restaurant continue about .25 miles and school is on the left. From the south (Lincolnville/Camden) take Route South to Nortport turn right just before Dos Amigos Restaurant follow Bayside .25 miles school is on the left.

From Rt. 3 in Belfast get on Route 1 as if you were headed south toward Rockland. At the intersection of Route 1 and Route 52 (This is where MBNA/Hannaford are and there is a traffic light) turn right (on the MBNA side) and head down Route 52 about 1 mile. The school is on the right just after the YMCA. From the South on Rt. 1 the intersection of 1 and 52 is the first set of lights in Belfast. Turn left at intersection and school is about a half mile on right after the YMCA.

From Bangor and Points North:
Take I-95 South to I-395 East (Exit 45A )in Bangor. Follow I-395 East to Route 202 West (Exit 2) toward Hampden. Follow 202 West through 2 sets of lights, taking a left at the 2nd light. Follow this road until you come to another light - take a right at the light. This will put you onto Route 1A South. 1A South will eventually merge with Route 1 South (approx. 19 miles). Follow Route 1 South into Belfast. After crossing the bridge in Belfast, take your first right, Route 7 and 137. Take a left at the end of the off-ramp - this is High Street. Take your next immediate left onto Vine Street (Vine St. is a one way street so you can keep left). Take a left at the end of Vine St. onto Waldo Ave. (Route 7). After you cross the overpass you will see a sign for Belfast Area High School - turn right into the bus parking area and continue until you come to the school entrance.
From Augusta and Points South:
Take I-95 North to the exit for Route 202/11/17/100 East (Exit 30) in Augusta. Merge onto Western Ave. (Route 202/17 East). Stay on Western Ave. until you come to a traffic circle, at the traffic circle take the third exit toward Route 202/17 East & Route 201 N. At the next traffic circle take the 3rd exit onto Bangor St., Route 202 and 100 East. Turn right onto N. Belfast Ave. (Route 202 and 3 North). Continue on Route 3 North (approx. 43 miles) right into Belfast. Take a left onto Route 1 North and then take the next exit (Belfast, Brooks, Freedom) it's only about 1/2 a mile. At the end of the off ramp you are right beside the BAHS entrance. You will turn right and do a U-Turn into the bus parking area, continue until you come to the school entrance.
From Points South on Route 1:
Follow Route 1 North into Belfast. Take the exit for Belfast, Brooks and Freedom. At the end of the off ramp you are right beside the BAHS entrance. You will turn right doing a U-Turn into the bus parking area, continue until you come to the school entrance.
